CalFire

The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) provides fire protection and stewardship as well as varied emergency services in 36 of California's 58 counties. In 2019, CalFire began collaborating with CAPA on Heat Watch campaigns to better understnad heat-related risks and preventative measures throughout California.
