Heat Watch Sensor

The CAPA Heat Watch Sensor is a highly accurate air monitoring device that captures one-second resolution measurements of air temperature, relative humidity and GPS while being mounted on a moving vehicle or person. Its design provides ease-of-use by community climate scientists with a single operation button and battery light. With its stem and solar guard, it is well insulated from the influence of solar radiation as well as heat from adjacent objects.

Mobile

One-of-a-kind mobile mounting design allows attachment to passenger vehicle as well as bicycle, moped, or bus.

Measurement

Measures air temperature, relative humidity, GPS (lat/lon), and velocity at rate of 1 measurement per second.

Connectivity

Wireless transmission of recorded measurements using bluetooth app, or manual wired transmission to desktop
